Sorry!

Firstlt I must apologise to those who have been trying to contact me over the past few months. I took a rather long break from work, I haven’t actually worked since March. I was thinking about hanging up my stockings altogether and giving it up, but to be totally honest i enjoy it too much to give it in. So I’m coming back, but unfortunately can no longer offer incalls, so will be doing a limited number of hotel outcalls only (minimum of two hour bookings).

So gents if you would like to book me while you can  please drop me an e-mail and we’ll sort something out. I am still offering dinner dates too.

Glorious!!

Well sunshine and bank holiday weekend don’t usually go together too well at all to say the least! So I think everybody was surprised at this bank holiday weekend and the hottest weather of the year so far. What a glorious weekend it has been. I thought today might have been the day when it rained, especially as this morning on the weather they gave out thunderstorms for us by lunchtime, but they never came. Not that I would’ve minded that much, I do love a good thunderstorm and didn’t have anything much to do today. But the good weather lasting was a bonus.

So what have I been up to this weekend? Well I sat in traffic for ages on Saturday on the way to and from the Devon County Show. I love to visit the show, I’m a country girl at heart you see. But never been up on the Saturday before which is the busiest day, and also left a bit later than I had wanted too, so wasn’t expecting the HUGE HUGE traffic jam. I wasn’t happy, but was worth it as had a good day, with gorgeous weather. Especially enjoyed the stunt bike show, wow excellent stuff! Had another busy day in the sun yesterday, and been chilling today.

I hope you all had a great bank holiday, June here we come!

I’ve been away too long!

Well what a past month I’ve had! I’ve been feeling really sorry for myself and had no motivation to do anything what so ever, even sitting at the computer was a total chore and I even gave up eating for a while there too (although that wasn’t really a bad thing!). I have been suffering with the dreaded flu, and before you all go running for the hills and avoid me like the plauge, no it was not swine flu, just your common ol winter flu. A very nasty winetr flu at that, I’ve had flu a couple times before but never that bad, it really did knock me out. Yep I get winter flu in the Spring, although with our lovely weather going from one extreme to the other I can’t say I’m at all surprised! I got my lovely dose of flu well before the swine flu stories broke, I was on the mend by then but still not better. Just as well I had it before tho else I would have been so paranoid! You can just imagine it can’t you? Lol!

So a month has flown by in a total daze, I really don’t know what I’ve been doing. Not a lot to be honest, trying to recover and trying to carry on as best I could. Although I did have a week where all I could do was get out of bed and make it to the sofa, then back to bed again. Not nice, I really do hate being ill as it makes me feel so totally useless, I like being able to go about my daily business as usual and not having to rely on other people to get things done. But hey ho, all better now, at last!

Happy Red Nose Day!

It’s here, Comic Relief 2009. In these hard times we’re having charities suffer too, so I’m all for any fundraising of any kind for worthy charities. Of course we can’t go around giving our money to every charity out there, but I do hope people do continue to support charities where they can. There are so many charities out there that we really couldn’t do without, just look at the air ambulance and lifeboats for instance, and of course all the charities that do such hard work for children, animals, hospitals etc. They’re work really must go on, charities have such an important part to play.

You may love or hate Red Nose Day. You may cringe as the TV is taken over with silly programmes which all have the poignant messages in them that make us realise just how lucky we are. I think it is great when celebs get involved in worthwhile causes. I did sit down last night and watch the programme on the Kilimanjaro climb and really enjoyed it. Good on them for taking on such a hard task, a task most of us wouldn’t even dream of doing, and the big bit they raised A LOT of money.

Also today a lot of people have been out raising money, wearing PJ’s to work, doing silly things. It’s great, it’s fun and it works. I hope Red Nose Day is well supported this year so a lot of people can benefit from it. It really is a life saving and life changing charity.

Go on give them a ring and make a donation. Even if it is a couple of quid.

https://donate.comicrelief.com/donation/ or call 03457 910910

£1 could pay for a hot meal for a young homeless person when they go to a drop-in centre to get vital support and assistance.

£5 could buy a mosquito net, which can save a life. OR could pay for a school uniform for a child living in extreme poverty in Kibera, Africa’s largest urban slum. Children can only attend school if they have a uniform and so the money would be used to break down a barrier to getting kids into education.

£10 could pay for a young person living with domestic violence at home to talk to a counsellor in a safe non-judgemental environment, to help them cope with their traumatic experiences.

Ending on a funny note, they have done a Comic Relief spoof of the hilarious Cadbury’s Eyebrows advert (I just love that), it’s brilliant and a must see!

Take care everybody, Happy Red Nose Day 2009!

I’m an addict!

I’m afraid I have to confess that I am totally addicted to facebook! So I am going to make a huge unashamed plug here on my blog for my Facebook page!!

So you can do just that, Facebook me! Imogen Taylor:
http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/profile.php?id=1372752739&ref=profile

I also have, as well as my profile, Imogen’s fan page at:
http://www.new.facebook.com/pages/Plymouth-United-Kingdom/Imogen-of-Plymouth/70756740257?ref=ts

I’m one of those people that can’t actually switch on the computer without checking my facebook page (well pages, being as I have my own personnal one too! See what I mean when I say I’m addicted, not good not good). In fact it’s usually the first thing I do, rather unconsciously too which is the scary thing. I know I’m not alone, being addicted to facebook is a big problem worldwide. Maybe they should start setting up facebook rehab???

See you soon, on facebook!

Thank yous

Most of the time in this business clients come and go without contacting us again until the next time they want to visit, or the clients that are just one offs you never hear from again. This is normal and I wouldn’t expect any different. But sometimes you get those lovely gents that like to let you know how much they enjoyed the time you spent together. It is always nice to have compliments, especially in this business. I have a few regulars that always like to contact me after a meeting (either by text or e-mail) just to say thank you, that they had a great time and see you soon. It’s nice when guys are thoughtful, I mean we are people after all although we are escorts, we still have feelings like everybody else, and it’s always nice to know you are doing your job well  I really do like to please, and when I know I’ve done a great job in doing that it’s fantastic.

One gent in particular sent my a really lovely e-mail last week after our meeting, it really made me smile and I’m so happy he gets so much out of our meetings. You know who you are, and thank you again. Will be seeing you soon

Take care,

Springing into March!

Wow, I keep saying this, but exactly where is the time going??? It will be officially Spring tomorrow (yay, woohoo, yippee, you get my drift!!) , and the 1st March on Sunday! Now where has this year gone already? Is it me or has time speeded up or something, very strange, I just feel like the past couple of years has really wizzed by. Maybe I’m just getting old

But yes Spring is almost here, although they say there is going to be another cold snap next week, no surprise there. I’ve been quite pleased that this winter has been colder rather than mild and wet like the previous two. When you have horses and are out in it every day, stood in a field with mud up to your knees, the winter weather really does matter. Although last summer I was also stood out in the rain in a field of mud, yes you may say just get inside girl, stop standing around in the rain and mud. But hey, as you may know I am a bit mad, and they do say mud is good for the skin lol.

But, slightly going off track here, I was saying it is Spring tomorrow. Spring fills you with thoughts of little lambs (although I’ve been surrounded by them since just after Christmas on the farm), trees filled with catkins, birds singing, bunnies hopping around the fields, pretty flowers in the hedgerow, blue sky filled with little white fluffy clouds. Ahhh, just the thought of all that makes you feel better. I am looking forward to Spring walks, maybe even sitting in a beer garden or two (with an orange juice, I don’t drink you know), nice company and hopefully nice weather.

If any gents would like to take me on a nice Spring walk, with a beer garden and back to your hotel for some Springtime frolicking just give me a call  I am feeling full of the joys of Spring!!

Happy Valentines Day whatever you are up to today. I’ve had a very busy day, had family commitments today and then this evening I have a busy evening with some regular guys which is nice.

Last year I didn’t work on valentines day so wasn’t sure if I’d be busy or not, but I sure am which is great. It’s one of those strange days of the year where you don’t know if guys will be wanting to see you or not, but I am now glad I decided to work. Especially as one of my favourite clients is on his way.

Valentine’s kisses to you all.

Snow? What snow?

I must be in the only city in the entire country that has had NO snow!!!

This news report made me laugh : “From the Channel Islands to the Shetland Islands, Brecon Beacons to East Anglia, the snow has blanketed the entire country.”

Ermm, not here in Plymouth!! Plymouth must be in a snow exclusion zone. All we get here is bloomin rain, rain and more rain. Oh it did try and snow twice, but quickly turned back to rain again when it realised where it was!! There was snow 10 miles away.

It’s snow joke!

Well we don’t have any snow down here in the lovely SW, well as of yet but I don’t imagine we will get any (I could also be eating my words tomorrow lol!). But how does our lovely country always come to a stand still when there is snow?? I mean they had plenty of warning of it, but us British just can’t handle the smallest bit of snow let alone the amount some parts of the country have had today. We panic! Not just the public, but it seems that the whole network of public transport comes to a halt too! I mean there are a lot of countries in this world that deal with snow day after day all winter, and they don’t stop. Maybe because they are used to it and adapted, but c’mon we’ve had snow before, it’s not as if it’s a weather event that’s never been seen in this country. Honestly!!

Right that is enough of my little rant, I bet you’re getting used to me and my little moans by now, lol.

Wrap up warm peeps and take care out in that snow (that’s if you’re brave enough to venture out in it!!).
