My 1st floozy anniversary

Well I am celebrating tonight as it is my first anniversary of floozying! Wow hasn’t the year flown by, and I’ve been really enjoying my new job. I can’t quite believe it’s been a year already, certainly doesn’t feel like it!! I am glad I started in this industry, in the past year I have met some really great people and have had a lot of fun.

What’s in a name?

Imogen is a female given name, probably created by William Shakespeare for a character in his play Cymbeline. Shakespeare likely meant to use the name of Innogen, a legendary figure whose name was derived from a Celtic word inghean meaning maiden, but a misprinting that was never corrected resulted in the name of the character being printed instead as Imogen. The name is currently rising in popularity in England and Wales, where it was the 34th most popular name for baby girls in 2007, and in New South Wales, Australia, where the name was the 35th most popular name for baby girls in 2007. It was ranked 86th in popularity for baby girls in Scotland in 2007.

Imogen from William Shakespeare’s Cymbeline in a painting by Herbert Gustave Schmalz:

Although she doesn’t look a bit like me, and don’t worry I don’t go around wielding swords!

Another week flies by!

Wow what a totally hectic one I’ve had this week, both personally and workwise. I got to the point where I couldn’t even remember what day it was, let alone what date or month! You know you’ve got it bad when it gets like that!! Plus this weather has been so lovely you would be fooled to think it was July not October.

Had a strange day today, busy day in my other life and I had my Imogen head on which is never good when I’m not meant to. It’s weird sometimes as I get to the point where she just won’t go away when she’s meant to lol! I kept thinking too that the people I was with have no idea what I do, and if they knew they would see me in a whole different light (and no doubt never speak to me again!). Unfortunately having my Imogen head on when I’m not meant to leads to a bit of unsolicited flirting. Don’t blame me, Imogen is just so naughty I just couldn’t help myself! Although the two guys on the receiving end certainly didn’t mind, lol!

Workwise it’s been a busy week too. Met some new lovely guys and some lovely regulars. So mwah fellas, Imogen has had a fun week.

Ageism

I recently had somebody say that he was surprised that I didn’t have an age limit of people I see. To be honest age doesn’t bother me at all, I find those few clients you get that you really don’t enjoy being with can be any age. The age is just not a factor to me. I know some escorts won’t see clients under 25 or 30, as there sadly is the stereotype that the younger guys won’t be respectful and don’t know how to behave properly. I have seen clients in their early 20’s that are lovely, they have been very polite, charming and respectful. Of course I’m not saying they are all like this, because they’re not, but again that can go for men of any age.

I do of course have my prefered age group! I have always had a thing for older men, in fact in my private life I have never dated anybody that is younger or the same age as me. Most of the boyfriends that I’ve had have had at least 10 years on me, some even being double my age. I’d say at the moment I prefer  guys that are in their 40’s and 50’s. I also have clients in their 60’s and 70’s, and this does not bother me in the slightest. I have people contact me asking about a booking and saying that they are xx years, do I mind? Of course I don’t.

One of my favourite men turns 60 next year, he is just so darn sexy! Yum yum!!

Imogen attacks the enemy!!

HMS Imogen (D44) was a British Royal Navy I-class destroyer that served during World War II.

Imogen attacked and sank the enemy German submarines U-42 south-west of Ireland on 13 October 1939 in company with the destroyer HMS Ilex, and U-63 in the North Sea while in company with the destroyer HMS Inglefield and the submarine HMS Narwhal 25 February 1940. She collided with the cruiser HMS Glasgow and sank off Pentland Firth on 16 July 1940.

Just thought you’d enjoy having a bit of information on one of my namesakes!!

How time flies!!

Wow, I can’t believe October is upon us! Where is this year going?? I really don’t know it certainly has flown by, it’s just a shame the nice weather we’ve been having over the past few weeks isn’t lasting. It certainly does feel now winter is on the way, although coming out of a very long Spring into Autumn is rather unusual lol.

Well October is an exciting month for me. It’s almost my one year anniversary of being in this industry, and October is also my birthday month. So celebrations all round in a couple of weeks!!

What have I been up to since I last posted two weeks ago? Well I really don’t know, life has been a bit hectic and Imogen has been quite busy. Usual day to day things though, nothing exciting like I’ve been away on holiday (unfortunately, boo-hoo!), just life and work. Need to make a bit more me time and have some fun. If anybody is offering you know where to find me lol!! I feel like I need to be spoilt and pampered lol, hint hint hint!! Well it is my celebration month (yes the whole month has been set aside for it, not just the two days in question!!) so I’m allowed.

Off now to have some pampering and chill out.

Mwah,

Poets’ Corner

Imogen

LADIES, where were your bright eyes glancing,
Where were they glancing yesternight?
Saw ye Imogen dancing, dancing,
Imogen dancing all in white?
Laughed she not with a pure delight,
Laughed she not with a joy serene,
Stepped she not with a grace entrancing,
Slenderly girt in silken sheen?

All through the night from dusk to daytime
Under her feet the hours were swift,
Under her feet the hours of playtime
Rose and fell with a rhythmic lift:
Music set her adrift, adrift,
Music eddying towards the day
Swept her along as brooks in Maytime
Carry the freshly falling may.
Ladies, life is a changing measure,
Youth is a lilt that endeth soon;
Pluck ye never so fast at pleasure
Twilight follows the longest noon.
Nay, but here is a lasting boon,
Life for hearts that are old and chill,
Youth undying for hearts that treasure
Imogen dancing, dancing still.
