I’m in need of ice cream!

Yes it is needed, I have a sore throat, uh oh not good I fear I’m coming down with the dreaded lurgy that has been going around friends and family. I really hope not, as I hate being poorly. I’m not too good at it, it annoys me when I’m ill, I get frustrated and I seem to have an inability to relax and rest. Plus of course if I get poorly I can’t see my gentlemen!

My dear friend has popped out to get me ice cream and should be back very shortly for it. No it is not an excuse, I really do have a sore throat! I’ll eat my ice cream, take a couple of pills and be off to bed. Fingers crossed all is well again in the morning!

Have I missed something?

Well you know “they” (whoever they may be) come up with these special National days to celebrate/commemorate/or for awareness. Well I’m sure I missed a really important one today. I think it was ‘National No Signals Day’, and I can’t believe I didn’t know.

I went out this afternoon on a 15 minute journey. The majority of drivers I came across at roundabouts, junctions and on the dual carriageway, seemed to have forgotten how to use their indicators. I mean you usually come across one or two that don’t, but I couldn’t believe just how many weren’t in that relatively short journey. I was getting a bit of road rage I must say!

But then I figured It must be ‘National No Signals Day’ and I must’ve been the one looking stupid actually using my indicators. See, if I’d known earlier one I wouldn’t have looked silly, and two I would have been able to excuse those drivers and not got road rage.

They should announce these special days on the news and in the papers so we all know!

Smile!

Don’t you hate it when you are in the supermarket and you damn well know there is something else you need, but can’t for the life of you remember what it is?

Well after getting home with my shopping, I finally realised the thing I desperately needed (after squeezing all life out of it this morning) was toothpaste! So down I popped to my ‘local’ corner shop, a mini version of the supermarket I was at earlier in the day. I hate having to go there as I find the limited choice and high prices just totally unbearable, but with my bad memory it becomes a bit of a must at times.

So in I go, locate the toothpaste and find an excellent choice of THREE!! I pick one that costs over £2, not too bad I thought. That is until this evening when I went to use it. I hadn’t realised until I took the tube out of the box just how small it was! It was like one of those mini travel size tubes, I mean I’m not off on holiday, grrr!! What a total rip off, but at least it’ll do until I actually remember to buy it at the supermarket next time!

Imogen - A remake of a classic

Well I never knew I was a classic BBC micro computer game. I’m afraid I have to admit to not even knowing what a BBC micro computer game was! Somebody sent me this link to it, lol did make me giggle, I know I’m easily amused. Apparently Imogen has been revamped!

”Imogen started life for Michael, the author of the original BBC version, as a piece of self-indulgent whimsy about 17 years ago. It was a unique game that even today has no likeness. With detailed levels to explore and devilishly humorous puzzles, Imogen broke the mold and won admiration as being amongst the best BBC Micro games of all time.”

If you want to download Imogen (lol) you can get me, sorry it, here: http://imogen.ovine.net/imogen-download.php

Have fun!

Escort blogs

There has been talk of messages on forums lately about ladies blogs and why we do them. Of course it is a great bit of extra advertising and web presence, but in all honesty it is FUN! Yes we write our blogs because we enjoy doing so. Of course not all escorts have blogs, for various reasons some people prefer not to. But there are some great ladies blogs around, check out the links under ‘My Favourite Blogs’ to the right. They are not all escort blogs, 21st Century Pinups, Bernie Dexter, La Magia and Ptr Leeds are not, but the rest are written by some very funny and interesting ladies in this industry. Get a cuppa (or optional glass of wine, bottle of beer), sit back comfortably and enjoy the read!!

Pinup girls!

I’m a big fan of Pinup, have been for a long time. I love the work of  Gil Elvgren, his work is just amazing. He had a long career and was the most important pinup and glamour artist of the 20th century, although he was also a well established photographer. He was indeed a very talented man, famous for advertisments and calendar girls.

I love the whole pin-up look, that 40’s 50’s feel that is just so glamorous. The sexy lingerie and gorgeous vintage dresses, the whole cheesecake appeal. It’s just all so sexy! Plus the whole burlesque look too, you just can’t get any better than those pinup girls.

There are quite a lot of modern pinups, whether they are models, dancers, burlesque performers. Pinup is certainly a big thing these days, it had gained a huge following. But my favourite modern pinup is the one and only Bernie Dexter! She is a pinup/rockabilly/retro/cheesecake/lingerie model from San Diego and is just so lovely. Bernie’s mother was a burlesque dancer, so it must be in the blood for her. She just oozes sex appeal and is the epitome of 40’s and 50’s glamour.

Bernie modelling for lingerie company ‘What Katie Did Next’.

If you want to find out more aboput Bernie, check out my links to her blog and website.

An office job??

Well escort work probably couldn’t be further away than your average 9-5 office job. But saying that us escorts do spend an awful lot of time sat doing our ‘floozy office work’. Probably more time than people may realise, floozying isn’t all fun fun fun lol. Although of course we have fun doing the ‘paperwork’ too. I like to keep my website up to date, plus of course all the time spent on all the directory listings etc. Oh and blogging, albeit fun to blog, it is work. Then e-mails to read and reply to, forums to read and post on. Yes again like blogging, forums may not feel like work but they are great for us escorts to ‘mingle’ on. One for the comradery and banter, but also of course for networking, which I tend not to think about and not a reason I specifically go on forums, or indeed write this blog. I like posting on forums and writing this as I find it fun. Of course the more web presence an escort has the better her advertising and web searches will be. Then the amount of time we actually spend on the phone!!

Then there is the not so nice paperwork, the dreaded tax returns! Yes us escorts do do them, surprisingly for some people that think we all must cheat the tax man. Certainly not worth doing that, I, like many other ladies (I’d like to say all, but sure somewhere that isn’t the case), run my business like any other self employed business. I keep track of everything and fill in those tax returns, pay my tax and NI contributions. Boring stuff, but necessary.

So us escorts aren’t spending all our working hours having fun with the guys, we do spend a considerable amount of time in the ‘office’ too.

Imogen (who has always spent too long in the ‘office’, even before doing this job! Ok, ok I love being on the computer and browsing the web)

Sensually does it

I quite often get asked what turns me on. For me there is nothing better than being very sensual not neccessarily sexual. I love touch and to be touched. I love to stroke and be stroked. I am especially sensitive on my neck, back, shoulders and head. I also love to be kissed on my neck. I feel being sensual with a partner is so important, and I really do enjoy clients that like to partake in this as foreplay, it adds excitement and anticipation. It is nice to take things slowly and build up. Oh course it’s not everybodys thing and some people don’t enjoy it, and sometimes it’s nice to just have a quickie. But for me I just love it, infact I would sit there all night having by back and neck stroked if you let me, hehehe.

From the film ‘Don Juan DeMarco’:

“One night, I watched Dona Querida at the window in her slip, and noticed for the first time how a woman’s underclothing barely touches her skin… how it rides on a cushion of air as she moves… how the silk floats about her body, brushing her flesh like an angel’s wings… and I understood how a woman must be touched.”
